Install the Chrome Extension

Download the Chrome Extension if you haven’t already.

Open it on the call tab

Open the extension on the same browser tab as your video call. This ensures both the provider’s and patient’s audio are captured.

Supported Platforms

  • Zoom and Google Meet in Chrome — supported via the Chrome Extension
  • FaceTime — not supported, since it takes full control of the microphone
Using AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones during the call? The patient’s audio is routed directly into your ear, so Commure Scribe’s microphone won’t pick up their side of the conversation. Use your computer speakers instead, or add a wired/USB microphone to capture room audio in parallel.
Prefer not to use the extension? Record on a separate mobile device with the call audio set to speaker mode, and Commure Scribe will pick up the conversation from that second device used.
