# iOS Pricing

> Understand the price difference between subscribing in the iOS app versus the website, and how to get the standard rate.

If you subscribed through the iOS App Store, you may have noticed a price of \$129/month instead of our standard \$89/month.

## Why the Price Is Different

Apple adds a surcharge on top of our base price for subscriptions purchased through the iOS App Store. This is an Apple platform fee, not a Commure Scribe price increase.

## How to Get the Standard Rate

    Cancel the subscription you started in the iOS app.

  <Step title="Subscribe on the website">
    Go to [scribe.commure.com/app/account/upgrade](https://scribe.commure.com/app/account/upgrade) and subscribe at the standard \$89/month rate.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Keep using the iOS app">
    Log back into the same account on iOS. You're already subscribed through the website, so you won't need to subscribe again there.

  None of your existing scribes are affected by switching where your subscription is billed.
